This illustration was inspired by the BBC documentary, Blue Planet, where I saw these sleeping sperm whales, floating peacefully in the depths of the ocean. It's the beauty of this scene that I wanted to share.


 I created it in watercolor and then adapted the original work to create posters and a pattern.
